Your vintage cart will be delivered, set up, and stocked with the goodies of your choice, along with the scoops and tongs to fill your paper bag.

Do not think you can only use the cart to hold sweets! We have been known to use the cart to hold Kristy Kreme and jam-filled doughnuts, cupcakes and even a wedding cake display table and post box.

Vintage Sweet Cart - Frequently Asked Questions

We couldn't possibly answer all the questions, but here are a few to give the answer now. If you still need some advice or would like to ask us a question, please feel free to head over to the Contact Us page where you will find various ways to can get in touch.

How long is the hire?

If we are providing other services, we will bring the Sweet Cart with us and set it up at the time you have requested. If you are happy with us setting it up early, we will do so. The cart looks fantastic sat there, dressed ready for your guests to start eating the sweets. The cart will remain until the end of our service time unless the confectionery is finished before the end when we will dismantle if possible.

If the cart is the only thing you have hired, we will deliver it and set it up at the time you require and collect it at the end of the event.

Why do you do provide costs per head?

Price per head is an old way of costing a sweet cart. Not everyone will eat from the sweet cart and come and return over and over again...and not just the younger guests!

We provide plenty of sweets according to your package. If you think your guests may enjoy the sweets, take advantage of the more popular packages. If your guests really love sweets, then consider a custom package where we will fill the jars up throughout the evening.

Can I choose what sweets I have?

Yes, in general, you are free to choose what sweets you really like. At the moment, due to Covid-19 and the way of the world right now, manufacturers are claiming conflicts in other parts of the world are the reason for low stocks other their products. In turn, the three wholesalers we are linked with have limited stock. This might mean they do not have everything we offer in the ingredients and allergens booklet in stock when we purchase your sweets. For this reason, we ask that you only select sweets that you really do NOT want us to provide.

I have guests with alergies. Is this a problem?

Guest allergies are a real area of concern and we strongly recommend that you check with all your guests whether they have allergies and what they are.

We have done what we can to provide as much information in advance in the way of an Ingredients and Allergens booklet which details every confectionery we can provide. Although this is downloadable HERE at any time, we will email you a copy in advance of your event and a printed copy of the booklet will be with the cart and on display. We make no apologies for this and truly believe that compared to many sweet cart vendors, we provide more clear information than most.

In the booklet, you will see a Cart Label Number allocated next to every product, the name of the product, their descriptive name and what ingredients are used to make them highlight any risk in bold or yellow.; for example, Wheat, Choke Risk.. If provided by the manufacturer of the product, we have been able to provide if it is suitable for vegetarians, vegans etc. If it is free from artificial colours and in which country the product is manufactured. We have also given a stock image of the product. At the end of the document, you will find the contact details for every manufacturer - To see this booklet, you can download it HERE.

Every jar on the cart has a chalkboard label which has a number and name on it. The number will correspond to the number in the booklet and the name is the descriptive name used; For example, if the label says 20 Cola Bottles, if you take the booklet and turn to product 20, you will all the information about that product that we can provide.
