Playing Boogie Bingo Live During Lockdown
Everyone knows the initial Covid-19 lockdown was a challenging time for everybody across the world, and for us, it was no different. One way Oxford Discos helped was by providing #BoogieBingoLive for all ages to play for free on our Oxford Disco Facebook Page. This was when the power of playing Boogie Bingo Live really took over. We would play at least twice a week and would have in the range of 15 to 100 families playing along all accross the world.
Oxford Disco and Karaoke, which is the name of our Pub & Bar venture, received many messages and calls of thanks from our fanbase for the work and dedication we put into keeping "normal life" going, even if it was only for 2.5hrs a night. Players would send in their photos and videos of them playing which was awesome to see. One player even took to BBC Radio Oxford, our local radio station to talk about playing.
